Armageddon Predictions

Here are my predictions about tonight's WWE Armageddon 2007 PPV:
  • Finley vs. Great Khali: I'm all for Finley on this one, it's going to take some tricky manuevering from him and Hornswoggle but I got the feeling that they've got it. I mean, Khali has been attacking him for the past two weeks and it only makes sense that Finley just goes for it and wins. So yeah, Finley all the way. PROBABLE WINNER: FINLEY
  • Shawn Michaels vs. Mr. Kennedy: Shawn Michaels must pull this off, no possible way he can lose to Kennedy. Kennedy has been trying to play mindgames I think the only time the guy playing mindgames actually won, was maybe 2-3 years ago in a match I probably don't even remember (I definately don't remember). Shawn Michaels for the win on this one. PROBABLE WINNER: SHAWN MICHAELS
  • CM Punk & Kane vs. Big Daddy V & Mark Henry: Who didn't this match coming? I had a feeling they were going to have this kind of match on PPV, because we all know the ECW title isn't worth defending on a PPV scale. Dumbies. Anyway, I got the feeling that CM Punk and Kane are going to pull off a victory on this one. Yeah, BDV & Henry are HUGE AND they've got Matt Striker, but CM Punk and Kane have a little bit of momentum going into this and I think it's enough to carry them. PROBABLE WINNERS: CM PUNK & KANE
  • Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy (Winner gets a shot at the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble): Easy one, the Hardys always get screwed therefore Triple H has this. We all know the Hardys have the talent, they just haven't been given a full on main event set-up and they're starting to get it now (at least one of them is) but I don't think they're going to get carried to the title. Plus, Triple H only sees one thing in his life: gold. PROBABLE WINNER: TRIPLE H
  • Beth Phoenix (c) vs. Mickie James (WWE Women's Championship): We all know that Mickie James is going to be injured in the process of this match, win or lose. Anyway, welllll .. I really don't know. I would love to say Beth Phoenix keeps it so that Candice Michelle can win it back, and that would make sense. So, I'll go with that. PROBABLE WINNER: BETH PHOENIX
  • MVP (c) vs. Rey Mysterio (US Championship): Oddly enough, I think MVP is gonna keep it, he could end up saving it for the return of Matt Hardy BUT Rey could win it and then lose it back to MVP. Hmm, this is a toughie. For the record, I'll say MVP. PROBABLE WINNER: MVP
  • Randy Orton (c) vs. Chris Jericho (WWE Championship): Chris Jericho just got here, and I think he needs to stay out of the title picture at the moment. Keep him as a mid-carder/upper mid-carder and then just build him up. Plus, they should build up Randy Orton as unstoppable a little bit more too. Therefore, Randy Orton will come out victorious tonight. PROBABLE WINNER: RANDY ORTON
  • Batista (c) vs. Undertaker vs. Edge (Triple Threat) (World Championship): Oh damn, I have a really good feeling that Batista is not leaving the champ tonight, it's just that simple. And Edge is on a roll but he just got off injury so why throw the strap on him right after he gets back? I say give it to Undertaker, overcome the adversity of Vickie and Edge and finally beat Batista for the title with Edge legally being involved. Taker is gonna be the new champion leaving Armageddon. PROBABLE WINNER: UNDERTAKER

And that's about it for Armageddon. I'll post my reactions after the PPV and a little bit of news later.

Delayed Turning Point Reactions ..15th Anniversary Information ... The Truth is Gone from TNA

Here are my delayed Turning Point reactions. Dude, I suck so bad.

  • ODB & Roxxi Leveaux vs. Angelina Love & Velvet Sky: I was a little taken a back by this match but may be they could step over the one storyline women's boundary and start something here? Decent match however. ODB and the "liquid courage" never quit.
  • Team 3D & Johnny Devine vs. MCMG & Jay Lethal: Holy crap I wasn't expecting that! This has got me excited and seeing Johnny Devine is great, I really like that guy and not only as a wrestler. Anyway, they still have the title even after the ladder match. It's good stuff and go Team 3D! Teach MCMG how to play the game!
  • Feast or Fired: Well, Petey Williams, Senshi, Scott Steiner, and BG James. Hot damn this'll be interesting. But, with Christopher Daniel's winning the departing Senshi's briefcase I can't wait to see how this turns out. And Matt Morgan needs to stay more on top of this stuff!
  • Eric Young vs. James Storm: Textbook, just didn't see the miscommunications coming in there.
  • Gail Kim vs. Awesome Kong: Holy crap she lost it! Best match on the card, this feud is really good so they should keep it going. Plus, both of these chicks can wrestle a great match.
  • Abyss & Raven vs. Black Reign & Rellik: Raven on the face side of this match? What is this? I was really confused by this but I marked out anyway because it's Raven, and that's just how I am about him. Anyway, Rellik jammed tacks in Raven's mouth, nice really nice. I always mark out over gimmick, hardcore matches like this so this was my cup of tea, just like the Hardcore title was before the 24/7 rule (beginning of the end really). Unfortunately, Rhino had to pull out because of a family emergency.
  • Booker T & Kaz vs. Robert Roode & Christian Cage: There was straight up nothing memorable about it except that Kaz got me points on Stablewars for an appearance and a win. And Roode and Cage got me points for an appearance and a loss. That's about it.
  • Angle Alliance vs. Eric Young, Samoa Joe, & Kevin Nash: I hope TNA really learned their lesson with this one. They always thrust WWE dropouts and guys with histories of problems into the main event scene and then boom, they drop out and go. Samoa Joe did a really good shoot out in the ring, went over board but he even yelled at Dixie to fire him. Eric Young is now launched into all of this, probably just the break he was looking for. Ridiculously dumb match other than that.

Turning Point was really good, but a total disaster at other points. I look forward to the cases being opened this week on iMPACT!.

Raw's 15th Anniversary is going to be awesome and complete mark-out night for all. Trish, Lita, Stone Cold, Hogan (didn't he say he wasn't coming back?), and just about anybody else you can imagine. The Bisch even! 15 man battle royal tonight and I've got some predictions on who might be in for a competition but I'm wayyy too lazy to repeat them here. Word on the streets is that either Sid Vicious or Bret Hart is going to be there, but that's highly doubted. Carlito and Jeff Hardy ought to be interesting too.

Just a really good, mark-out night tonight. I'll post reactions afterward.

TNA Turning Point PPV Predictions

Yep, I'm back to give my predictions for tomorrow's Turning Point PPV. Here goes.
  • Feast or Fired (3 Titles Shot [ON A POLE], 1 pink slip [ON A POLE]): This match is totally Vince Russo from start to finish. Anyway, it's basically a battle royal with three winners winning a title shot at the X Division, Tag Team, or the Heavyweight title. So far the 15 people involved have not been announced so with the three choices I've gotta take a wild guess and for the guy who's losing once again a while guess. Anyway, I'll throw my hat into this and say Christopher Daniels for the X, Hernandez for the Tag, Chris Harris for the Heavyweight title, and Raven to be fired. Unfortunately, for Raven, it just has to be that way. WINNERS: DANIELS, HERNANDEZ, HARRIS///LOSER: RAVEN
  • ODB & Roxxi Leveaux vs. Angelina Love & Velvet Sky: Onto the women who were given stupid names. Anyway, ODB and Roxxi are the toughest chicks in the new division but you can't count out the other two who might just lie, cheat and steal their way to victory in style. I'm leaning towards Love & Sky for this one, they just seem like the shoe in for it. Buttt, ODB and Roxxi sound good too....Hmmm...Ehhh, I'll say ODB & Roxxi. Roxxi has VKM in her corner so they could swing things in their favor. WINNERS: ODB AND ROXXI LEVEAUX
  • Eric Young vs. James Storm: This is really interesting and I like how this match came about. Eric Young is gonna win this, he's beat Storm at drinking so why not in a match? WINNER: ERIC YOUNG
  • Booker T & Kaz vs. Robert "It Pays To Be" Roode & Christian Cage: With the Coalition being over and Styles trying everything in his power to make it up to Cage it's a pretty good guess that Styles is gonna come down to the ring and really screw everything up. Ms. Brooks could have her final run in with the fan and officially be fired. Brooks could cost the match too. Therefore, Kaz & Booker have this, plus Booker is on a push right now since coming and you can't losing an entry PPV match, just not possible. Kaz is on a roll too. So, Kaz & Booker for the win (ftw). WINNERS: KAZ & BOOKER T
  • Abyss & Rhino vs. Blackdust & Rellik (Match of 10,000 Tacks): What is up with TNA putting Rhino with all the freaks of the place? What? Are they trying to make him look like one of them because it's not working and even if it did it would be an awful gimmick. Anyway, Abyss has the momentum as does Rhino, therefore they will pull off the victory tonight. Plus neither Blackdust or Rellik have won a match against either on PPV. They also seem like a really unorganized team. I wouldn't mind seeing the return of Mesias either. WINNERS: RHINO & ABYSS
  • Team 3D & Johnny Devine vs. Motor City Machine Guns & Jay Lethal (Tables Match): Team 3D & Devine will lose and the guys will get the title back. It's as simple as that and needs no explanation. You can't have a match at the beginning of the night to find out who gets the title shot if the champion doesn't have the title. WINNERS: MCMG & JAY LETHAL
  • Gail Kim (c) vs. Awesome Kong (Women's Title): Awesome has this, we do need a new champ but I'm sure after this Kim will get it back. Buttt...Kim could find a way. Ehh, I don't know, I think I'll go back to Gail Kim. WINNER: GAIL KIM
  • The Angle Alliance vs. Hall, Nash, and Samoan Joseph: Hmm, wow. I'm not sure on this one. I'd love to say the Angle Alliance but with Tomko injured who knows who the replacement will be. Anyway, Hall's return and with the way Joe has been wrestling lately they've got this. WINNERS: HALL, NASH & SAMOAN JOSEPH

Wow, thanks to TNA for being predictable that was amazingly easy. I'll be back later with news and hopefully you catch the PPV tomorrow. I'll post my thoughts on it either on Monday or directly after the PPV.

Feast or Fired? ... Update on Sting ... Hogan Divorce? ... Tomko Injured ... Hardy Injured

Here is a quick update on all the stuff I missed randomly during the week.

TNA has a new sort of gimmick match announced for their 12/2 Turning Point PPV. It's called Feast or Fired. It's a battle royal where there are 4 briefcases hanging from 4 poles (go Russo!) each with a title shot (tag team, X Division, & Heavyweight) and one that has a pink slip. I'm really excited for this concept for some reason. It'd be interesting to see who got fired. Once I know the full roster for the match I'll post it and give my thoughts on each contestant.

Sting is currently on break and TNA has offered him a contract extension. No word, however, on if he's agreed on it or signed it.

According to sources Hulk Hogan's wife has filed for divorce. I had a strange feeling this was coming because the last season of their show wasn't that happy between the two from what I've seen. Plus, the stress of what happened to Nick and his friend could have played a role. When information becomes available I'll let you know. Other word is that this took Hogan by surprise and it took an interview guy to tell him what happened. Take that for what it's worth.

According to sources Tomko went in for emergency surgery on a torn muscle. Obviously, this happened in Japan. When more becomes known I'll post some more about that.

Matt Hardy also had to go under an appendectomi the other day. It was on the night of the Smackdown/ECW tapings. He is set to be out 2-3 months. In my opinion it seems like he's hit a spot of bad luck as of late. But that's just me. He's missed out on a few matches even if they have been kayfabe injuries (and one that wasn't, thanks Rey). Personally I feel that he's been being screwed out of the US title and he's just not having a good time.

My get-well wishes go out to Tomko and Matt Hardy. =) Get well soon guys!

Survivor Series Reactions

Survivor Series was an ehhhh PPV. Then again, for some reason I haven't been a big fan of WWE PPVs and TV shows lately. So, here are my reactions to the matches.
  • CM Punk vs. Miz vs. John Morrison (Triple Threat) (ECW Title): Who called that? I did! Anyway, I can't really remember much from the match but I do remember last night really liking it and thinking it was a good match to start the PPV. Which is something about 85% of wrestling fans are saying (if you're not part of that 85% you're not mentally right.) Anyway, I was hoping CM Punk would keep the title and I guess WWE has been impressed with his work as champ because they've kept him as such.
  • Beth Phoenix (c), Jillian Hall, Melina, Victoria, & Layla vs. Mickie James, Torrie Wilson, Michelle McCool, Maria, and Kelly Kelly: Hmmm, I thought this match was alright. With only one real wrestler on the face side I was a skeptical about it but from people watching the PPV on TV (I do online PBP updates because I'm unfortunately kinda poor and to boot our TVs have cable stuff built in so I don't have a box) Kelly Kelly was doing really good. I'm all for Kelly Kelly getting some wrestling training in, going to Raw, and fighting it out for the Women's Title. Next draft my friends, next draft.
  • Triple H, The Hardys, Rey Mysterio, & Kane vs. Umaga, Mr. Kennedy, MVP, BDV, & Finley (Traditional Survivor Series Tournament): The promo that aired before this was hilarious, they just had to bring up Katie Vick. Anyway, that was majorly hilarious and showed how much of an ass Triple H is sometimes. Anyway, Matt Hardy was out and considered elimanated because of his "leg injury". In the end, the surviving team was Team Trips and it was Triple H and Jeff Hardy as the survivors. From what I hear it was alright, but I wish I had seen it first hand.
  • Batista vs. Undertaker (Hell in a Cell) (World Heavyweight Title): Dude! Edge! Holy crap! What a great return for him and NICE JOB throwing him back in with the Undertaker. I was highly impressed with this match, even though Batista supposedly did a bad gig job and you could see him slice himself. Whatever, anyway really good match and I was happy that I got it right.
  • Cade & Murdoch (c) vs. Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly (WWE Tag Team Titles): Disappointment city dude. I was kinda bummed that Rhodes and Holly didn't win but then again Rhodes needs more experience plus they could get another run at the titles later. So, whatever.
  • Hornswoggle vs. The Great Khali: Dude, what in the blue hell happened here? A man, Finley, who was a heel maybe a match or two before and is now suddenly face and helping out his buddy Horny? What? Huh? Who? Yeah, and who else kept forgetting that Finley was in the SS match? I know I kept doing it. Anyway, match sucked. Plain and simple.
  • Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels (WWE Title) (Special Stipulations): Dude! That was awesome! I really liked this match. Michaels was just ripping off everyone's finishing moves. He used the crossface, angle lock, and his usual sharpshooter. I was like, "Dude! Crossface! Ring the damn bell!" It was great. Anyway, I liked this match, unfortunately Orton was able to pull off the victory. It was good stuff though.

I'll post some news tidbits from the past few days later. Also, who's ready for RAW IS JERICHO!?!

Survivor Series Predictions

Alright, the PPV that I once again know nothing about. I have no clue what is going on with me and WWE PPVs. I'm just not as into WWE as I was before. Anyway, here goes nothing.
  • Beth Phoenix (c), Jillian Hall, Melina, Victoria & Layla vs. Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, Torrie Wilson, Maria, & Michelle McCool - Hmm, this certainly is an interesting one and yes this is indeed a tag match rather than an elimination style thing (which would have been cool). Anyway, Beth Phoenix & Co have more wrestlers on their side which definately works out in their favor while Mickie James is the only real wrestler on her side. Something tells me this match is going to be all about retribution between the two teams. Anyway, I still think Mickie & Co will pull off the victory in some amazing fashion. PROBABLE WINNERS: MICKIE JAMES, TORRIE WILSON, MICHELLE MCCOOL, KELLY KELLY & MARIA
  • Hornswoggle vs. The Great Khali: Lots of interference and Hornswoggle is going to Guerrero his way to the win, by Guerrero I mean lie, cheat, and steal. Hopefully we see a Mick Foley run in as well. Maybe McMahon will stick up for his son? Anyway, this match is all Hornswoggle. PROBABLE WINNER: HORNSWOGGLE
  • Cade & Murdoch (c) vs. Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly (World Tag Team Championship): This is a given, Cade & Murdoch haven't been on the same page since the Mickie James incidents so this might be the final implosion of the two. Rhodes & Holly on the other hand are on a roll plus they're an odd couple tag team therefore they have to win (just like MVP & Matt Hardy and Miz & Morrison). PROBABLE WINNERS: RHODES & HOLLY
  • CM Punk (c) vs. Miz vs. John Morrison (Triple Threat) (ECW Title): Eeee, wow. I really don't know. I think that Morrison is supposed to get the title back once he came back, but I also think CM Punk should hold it longer. He's been a great champion. I just don't think Miz is ready to the hold the title so I guess we're down to CM Punk and Morrison. Hmmm ... I'll once again go out on a limb and say CM Punk. PROBABLE WINNER: CM PUNK
  • Triple H, The Hardys, Rey Mysterio, & Kane vs. Umaga, Mr. Kennedy, MVP, Finley, & BDV (Traditional Survivor Series match): Hmmmmm, alright still standing for HHH's side will be (give or take a 1 or 2) Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio, and/or Kane. On Umaga's side it'll either be Mr. Kennedy, Umaga, and/or BDV. Now, for the winner, it's going to be Triple H's side. They've got all the amazing guys so, in the words of Vince McMahon, "No chance in hell." Plus, Umaga's team has too many personalities that'll clash. PROBABLE WINNERS: TRIPLE H, THE HARDYS, REY MYSTERIO, & KANE
  • Batista vs. Undertaker (Hell in a Cell) (World Heavyweight Title): Hmm, this I'm really not sure about. Like in all honesty I have no clue what so ever. Hmmm...let's do a run down of the odds. Batista is just going insane right now (like he does before every PPV where he has a gimmick match) and this is Undertaker's speciality. I'll have to say Batista, I have no clue why however. PROBABLE WINNER: BATISTA
  • Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels (WWE Championship) (Special Stipulations): Alright, no SCM from Michaels and no blatent DQs from Orton. Okay, sounds stupid. Anyway, Michaels all the way. I know he can do it without the Music, I mean he's got a sharpshooter he's good at right? But, they could screw him out of it by having the ref down and out while Orton taps out. Orton gets a weapon then an RKO, and boom, still champ. I'm still pulling for Michaels though. This last scenario is an idea proposed on stablewars.com. I also smell MONTREAL SCREWJOB PT. 2...Nevermind. PROBABLE WINNER: SHAWN MICHAELS

See ya'll later. And, as always this will also be posted on http://www.thedailysuplex.com. I'll post some news later.

TNA Creative Changes ... Controversy over new TNA DVD

Today is a day entirely dedicated to TNA it seems. Anyway, there seems to be some changes on the creative side of TNA. Jeff Jarrett is still in charge and Vince Russo and Dutch Mantel are still around. However, Mike Teney and Jeremy Borash have officially been added to the Creative/Booking team. Abyss has also begun to sit in with them so it should be interesting to see if anything new does occur within TNA.

There is supposedly some issues with the new DVD on the 1st year of TNA by the uppers in TNA. They didn't get to approve of some of the scenes in the DVD so they're rather angry. There were thoughts on editing it, but they probably won't do it therefore, rush out and get it while you can! It's on my christmas list.

Peace!

JBL yells at The Miz and John Morrison ... Abyss Injured ... Havok back to Johnny Devine ... Kevin Thorn Being Punished

Yesterday at the Smackdown tapings JBL took a bunch of people aside (most notably Matt Hardy, The Miz, John Morrison, MVP, and CM Punk). He yelled at Miz and Morrison for their color commentary on ECW and for completely tearing into a guy they were trying to put over and distracting the audience. He then yelled at them again for a match that I guess didn't go so well on Smackdown against Matt Hardy and MVP. He told them they need to apologize to Hardy, MVP, and Punk because they made them look bad. Miz apologized (he's not that much of an ass after all) while Morrison told JBL, in simplest terms, "Go eff yourself". There was a little bit of a physical altercation which was quickly broken. That is just completely ridiculous in my opinion. JBL is a "wrestling God" on TV, not back stage. I understand you know he's a veteran but it's none of his business, but I guess that's just how things work out.

When Abyss was pushed off the stage in the box by Dustin Rhodes and Johnny Stamboli at Genesis he suffered a minor shoulder injury. They wanted him to escape the box through a trap door but he refused to do so. At least he tries to make things look legit and takes the bumps for it. I respect him a little bit more now.

I know you don't care but Havok and decided to go back to his original ring name of Johnny Devine. There goes my dream. I'm sure he'll go back to a "normal" gimmick too but Havok's dressing really isn't that bad. Plus it was completely his idea. Speaking of names, Johnny Stamboli's Redrum gimmick will be called Rellik (which is Killer spelt backwards).

The reason we haven't seen much from Kevin Thorn on ECW is because he's being "punished" for botching a finisher against KC James on ECW a few weeks back. I do remember seeing this finish and I believe that the way he landed he almost broke James neck. I mean, it was a pretty sloppy match to begin with. Anyway, that's supposedly but I would also blame the fact that they have absolutely nothing for him. Now, all I need is my Stevie question answered...

WWE Screws Up .. Again

Still, absolutely nothing. Anyway, WWE had a major screw up today. They released the cover for December 2007's WWE Magazine and, let's just say this, they made the Jericho return painfully obvious. Jericho is on the cover and it says they'll reveal the real reasons behind his "shocking" return. It's supposed to hit news stands next week (later in the week) but as is custom subscribers get it a week early and they always release the cover a week early. So, way to go WWE. I applaud you.

Jericho Returns Next Monday ... Ms. Brooks Faints

Really slow day today. The biggest news to come out today is that Jericho is indeed returning next Monday as shown by the new viral video done on Raw tonight (or last night). This is taken from eWrestlingnews.com:

Here are some of the phrases that flashed :

X+1=Y
J=9+1

BREAK_THE_CODE
BREAK_THE_WALLS

6_DAYS
23_hours
33_MINUTES

The Answer is the Code
19_LAUNCH
NEXT_MONDAY

Good stuff. I'm excited now.

And Ms. Brooks had a legitimate faint yesterday at Genesis. That was not an act at all. They believe it was the heat that got to her. She was out and about later in the show so she's alright.

Post-Genesis Opinions ... Redrum Reaction ... Booker T Reaction ... Lena Signed by WWE ... Fatu Not Done With TNA

Well, as promised, my Post-Genesis reactions and several other pieces of news.
  • Abyss vs. Black Reign (Shop of Horrors): I think we all knew Abyss was going to win this one. But, we weren't expecting the debut of Johnny Stamboli aka. Redrum. The thing that sucks is that nobody had any clue who it is but I'm sure on the next iMPACT! those who don't do stuff online will find out. It's nice to see a new face involved in this. Hopefully we can suck him into Serotonin one of these days.
  • Motor City Machine Guns vs. Team 3D: This was an easy one and unfortunately we saw no cool run ins. It was nice to see MCMG win though, and supposedly Team 3D put them over really well, which I liked and I thought was good. We haven't seen the last of Team 3D for the night.
  • Gail Kim (c) vs. ODB vs. Angel Williams vs. Roxxi Leveaux (TNA Women's Championship): This was an amazingly easy one to predict. It was also a rather good match from what I hear. I have to say I am highly impressed with TNA's Women's Division. You have a lot of good athletes in there and all of these chicks have a more than basic idea of what they're doing. WWE's chicks are just eye-candy while TNA's chicks are eye-candy who can do a really good job at doubling as wrestlers. Really good stuff. I do have to say though, ODB is rather humorous.
  • Jay Lethal (c) vs. Sonjay Dutt (TNA X Division Title): It was sort of a filler match if you will. It gave the X Division some exposure which it has been lacking lately. The ending though was really something. We seriously saw the invention of the modern day Macho Man Randy Savage, a very humorous Sonjay Dutt, and the new Miss Elizabeth (SoCal Val). Unfortunately, Team 3D came and ruined it by taking out Sonjay & Lethal and then abducted the X Division Title saying that the X Division must suffer for what MCMG did.
  • AJ Styles & Tomko (c) vs. The Steiners (TNA Tag Team Championship): I know I said Steiners, but AJ & Tomko had a really fair shot. Anyway, I thought they might implode but that wasn't the case and I think they worked better together than they usually do. It's just their style I guess.
  • Samoan Joseph vs. Robert Roode: I thought we would see more action from this but it was interesting enough at least. I thought we would see more Ms. Brooks stuff but what we saw really did suck. All that happened was that she was taken out but we're not sure how or by who but I'm assuming Rain and with some kind of random object. Anyway, it sucked but the match was good.
  • Kaz vs. Christian Cage (Fight for the Right Finals) (Ladder Match): You all know how I feel about Kaz. Therefore, it sucked. And Tomko and AJ cost Cage the match, which is something else you could have guessed because they always seem to do that when it's important for Cage. Anyway, no further opinion.
  • Kurt Angle (c) & Kevin Nash vs. Sting & Mystery Partner (Tag Team Match for the TNA Heavyweight Title): I hate the concept of a tag match for a title change but whatever. Anyway, Angle kept the title which makes me thing that Sting is screwed for a title reign before he retires. I only really stuck with the PPV to see who the mystery partner is (and it was Booker T). I was rather surprised at the end when Tomko and AJ came out and helped Angle and Cage had no clue what was happening. I knew the Coalition was going to implode, just I wasn't sure how. Anyway, we also saw Sharmell get into a cat fight with Karen Angle so this could get reallllllly interesting.

Anyway, overall good PPV. I was just really shocked by some of the stuff that happened and I was also disappointed by a few things.

I think Booker T returning was awesome. Especially as the old skool WCW/early WWE Booker T. This King Bookuh stuff was BS. Anyway, good luck Booker and hopefully things work out for us on the fan/mark side.

I was NOT expecting the debut of Redrum but I think that maybe that was the point. Anyway, he's a decent replacement for Judas and I can't wait to see what he can do. I'm also rather excited at having another new, twisted character to cheer for outside of Black Reign, Raven, and Mesias. For some reason I have a thing about twisted, heel wrestlers. They're amazing.

WWE has signed Diva Search reject Lena to a contract to be a backstage interviewer on ECW and possibly a wrestler. Supposedly she is in Tampa starting her training by taking minor bumps and things like that.

Lastly, Junior Fatu might not be done with TNA. According to him he wasn't at the iMPACT! tapings because of prior commitments and he was never really done with TNA to begin with and he wasn't sent packing. Supposedly his travel arrangements can get messed up because he lives in two different areas of the US so hopefully we see him at the next tapings. I'm excited to see him again.

Genesis Predictions

Oh yes! The time is here! It's time for the predictions for Genesis! Woohoo! Here goes ....
  • Team 3D vs. Motor City Machine Guns: The clear winners here are MCMG, hands down. It's just how TNA operates. They're a very "happy ending" type of promotion. You could also see a few run-ins from other X Division guys. I wouldn't be amazed to see Havok, Triple X, Petey Williams, or Shark Boy get involved. Anyway, the numbers game is huge going into this match. 3D doesn't have the man power. PROBABLE WINNERS: MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS
  • Samoan Joseph vs. Robert Roode w/ Ms. Brooks: Once again, very happy ending promotion so Joe's got this in the bag. I'm sure Roode will put up a good fight but in the end Joe will hold out. I'm also predicting an end to the whole Roode/Brooks problem. She'll possibly cost him the match and quit. Or accidently cost him the match and be fired. If this does occur we'll be seeing the hiring of the planted fan in the crowd on the next iMPACT!. PROBABLE WINNER: SAMOAN JOSEPH
  • Abyss vs. Black Reign (Shop of Horrors match): It's about time Abyss loses so I'll go out on a limb and say Black Reign will win. Seriously, Abyss can only last so long before the numbers game catches up to him. I wouldn't be surprised to see the return of Judas Mesias tonight to help Black Reign pull off the victory here. I wouldn't be surprised to see a run in from Raven and Havok either. Whatever occurs, I'm going for who I'm rooting for in this match, not who might win. PROBABLE WINNER: BLACK REIGN
  • Kaz vs. Christian Cage (Fight for the Right Finals) (Ladder Match): Kaz has this in the bag. I don't care how many people get involved in this match, plus usually when Tomko and AJ are involved in a match later in the night they don't help out Cage. Plus Kaz is on a huge push right now and I'm sure that eventually he's going to be the TNA Heavyweight Champion. Only to be toppled by Raven. Mwahahaha! Sorry .... Why does every post have a mention of Raven? No clue, but yeah, Kaz gets it. PROBABLE WINNER: KAZ
  • Gail Kim (c) vs. ODB vs. Roxxi Laveaux vs. Angel Williams (TNA Women's Championship): Nobody in this match has a shot, plus Kim can't drop the title that quick. This division is believed to have been built around her so Kim isn't losing anything. PROBABLE WINNER: GAIL KIM
  • AJ Styles & Tomko (c) vs. The Steiners (TNA Tag Team Championship): I'm going for the Steiners in this one. I have the feeling the Coalition isn't on the right page after AJ became "team captain". Tomko seems to be getting fed up so he could intentionally cost them the match. Or, Styles could get overzealous and cost them the match enraging Tomko. Anyway, I think we might be seeing an end to Tomko and the Coalition soon. PROBABLE WINNERS: THE STEINERS
  • Jay Lethal (c) vs. Sonjay Dutt (TNA X Division Championship): Jay Lethal is going to be winning this one. Sonjay Dutt doesn't seem ready to hold the title and I think this might be a title match just so the X Division gets it's spot on the PPV. I would be really amazed if Sonjay did win and if he did win he wouldn't be holding it long. It'd be like Havok winning the TNA Heavyweight title, it won't last. I think we might also see a furtherance of the Jay Lethal/SoCal Val storyline because something might be going on there. PROBABLE WINNER: JAY LETHAL
  • Kurt Angle (c) & Kevin Nash vs. Sting & Booker T (because we all know it's him) (TNA Heavyweight Title): The way this match works is whoever gets the pin on whoever wins the title. It's pretty stupid way to do it but whatever. Anyway, the real question heading into this was who is Sting's mystery partner, and we all know by now that it's Booker (coming in as Booker T because King Booker is owned by WWE). Anyway, they won't hand the title to a guy just walking in the door because of the history of guys coming and going. Nash is just just getting back in the ring and I have the feeling that Angle isn't keeping this title. Which leaves us with Sting, he needs one good title reign before he retires and I think this might be it. PROBABLE WINNER: STING

And that's about it. I'll be posting this on The Daily Suplex as well, which I encourage you to check out at http://www.thedailysuplex.com. Until later =)

Divas Gone From WWE? ... Speculate On What A Shop of Horrors Match Is

As many people have noticed, the Divas are removed from WWE.com. It is believed they have been pulled for a redesign of that section although I'm hoping that's just gone. I'm hoping it's just that because we've already dropped the Cruiserweight title and stuff. It probably is but just to be safe keep an eye out.

Now my real question for Genesis is what the hell is a Shop of Horrors match? From what I take it's a no-DQ, hardcore sort of match. But you guys know about Black Reign's little shop in the back? Maybe it's something that involves tools and things like that? Or it could be the type of moniker that WCW used in hardcore matches that involved Raven (Raven's Rules). I dunno but that's my question.

See me tomorrow for my predictions for Genesis and and check out thedailysuplex.com to see what's going on over there. They get news out quicker than I do.

CNN Screws up Cena Interview ... Chyna changes name? ... Video of Hogan crash revealed ... TNA has own saveus.222 ... TNA screw up

Word is that during the John Cena interview on CNN they completely screwed up what Cena was trying to say. I'm not going to voice my opinion, I'm just going to let the videos speak for themselves because this is just completely ridiculous.

Edited by CNN Version
Unedited Version Caught by WWE Cameras

Anyway, according to TMZ.com Joanie Marie Laurer has officially changed her name to Chyna. She issued a challenge to Vince McMahon saying, "Do I want to go back to get abused by you and get punched in the head every day and have people not stand up for me besides the fans? No. Would I like to go back for one day representing myself and all these people to kick your ass and your ass only? Cause you are the boss, right Vince? Then I would love to do it. You know my number. You know where I live, obviously. And you know my name. Bring it, Vince!" Obviously, she's eithering hitting the same drugs Warrior was hitting when he changed his name or she didn't get WWE's "We'll Pay For Your Rehab" letter. Either way, she's just being really stupid. Mind you, when I was little I used to look up to her. So, thank's for making me respect the new skanks more than you.

According to Nick 'Hogan' Bollea's attorney there is a video that proves all the 'eye-witnesses' were lying when they said Bollea was racing when he crashed his car severely injuring his friend John Graziano (I got the name today). The video shows that the guy they were 'racing' was stuck behind a stalled car therefore they wouldn't know if they were and there was no chance they were. Therefore, I guess the attorney is trying to say is just because he's the child of a celebrity everybody is trying to get him in trouble and put him on the same pedestal as all of the other Hollywood trainwrecks. Nice. I'll keep you updated on how this goes down.

TNA has decided to release it's own (rather late) version of SaveUs.222. It's a puzzle that is found at 11t11n07a.com. There are several things that give it away that it's Booker T at Genesis. It has a picture of Sting in the upper-left corner along with Huffman and Bordon spelt backwards. Bordon is Sting's last name and Huffman is Booker's last name. It also says Genesis and the initials BT at the bottom. Done. And a little too obvious. If you do go and make the puzzle, you have to flip a few pieces and you do this by pressing Spacebar while the piece is highlighted in red.

And a really quick piece of news that shows you how gaff TNA is. They originally said it was Jay Lethal vs. Elix Skipper for the X Division Title on TNAWrestling.com while on air they said it was Jay Lethal vs. Sonjay Dutt for the X Division Title. They finally cleared it up however. Nice going TNAWrestling.com web team!

Sting's Mystery Partner is Still Just That .. A Mystery

TNA was kind of annoying and wasn't really that great. Brief opinions in bulleted notation:
  • Karen Angle's attempts to "take care of business" are getting redundant and annoying. They need to end this running gag because it's beginning to make me gag.
  • I wouldn't have minded seeing Chris Harris complaining tonight myself.
  • The Gail Kim vs. (insert chick jobber's name here) match wasn't that great. The end just sucked too. This match isn't going to be great at Genesis.
  • Who the hell has ever seen a female jobber?
  • We had a typical tag team moment with Black Reign getting involved and an X-Division guy getting taken out.
  • Who say Sonjay Dutt getting a title shot? I definately didn't.
  • That Kaz vs. Cage match for B/S. Maybe it's because I'm a huge Raven fan I dunno but I hope that Cage owns Kaz wicked bad.

Other than that nothing really noteable happened.

WWE Releases Two ... Genesis Mistake ... Review on Impact Later ... Quick Opinion on Talent Exchange

WWE has decided to release both Chris Masters and Dr. Death Steve Williams. Williams was a trainer down in OVW and the believed reason he was booted is because he lives in Colarado and it costs too much to fly him out. WWE is just cutting it's financial corners. The next thing is, who will take his place? I'm thinking they'll send either Tommy Dreamer or Val Venis down since they seem to have nothing for either of them. Speaking of people having nothing, where's Richards and Thorn? We obviously all know why Masters was evicted, his Wellness violations have gotten too numerous plus they really seem to have nothing for him because he's such a one sided person.

Since there is really nothing, I'll hand you this piece of just really stupid information. In TV Guide's preview for Genesis they list Jeff Hardy as one of the people going there. As we all know, as far as wrestling goes TV Guide can't tell it's ass from it's elbow. Pretty funny though.

Alright, I'm going to say something about this Smackdown/ECW talent exchange. This exchange is just burying the jobbers/mid-carders on ECW. Ever since this exchange began I have not seen one bit of Stevie Richards or Kevin Thorn. They're two really talented guys just I think they should go better places. If it was my world, they'd be released, both sign with TNA, and mysteriously end up with Raven. Richards for the 293853729 time in his life. And Thorn would be a good fit with him anyway. The same is not happening on Smackdown because they have 2 hours compared to ECW's 1.

Alright, I'll post a little something after iMPACT! tonight just to break the monotony of this awful update. Hopefully they'll tell us what the hell a Shop of Horrors match is.

Word on Brooke's Release ... Nick Turns Himself In ... Pacman To Serve Full Suspension ... New Match Added to Survivor Series

According to sources the reason that Extreme Expose's Brooke was released is because she got into a tiff with Melina over furry boots that she was going to wear on Raw and that everything turned into a really diva issue with it coming out with Melina being the only one wearing furry boots on Raw. Take that for what it's worth but recently people have been released for some pretty ridiculous things. Am the only who's noticed that wrestlers are gotten a lot more divaish it seems? Oh well.

Nick Hogan aka. Nick Bollea turned himself into the police this morning because of the charges stemming from his accident where he severely injured his friend. The accident was attributed to speeding. He is being charged with reckless driving with injury resulting.

Things in the NFL do not look good for Pacman. Commisioner Roger Goodell said no to shortening his season long suspension. Many attribute it the fact that he signed up with TNA and that if he hadn't then he would be back in the NFL "making it rain". Nice.

There was a new match added to Survivor Series. It will be a triple threat for the ECW title with Miz vs. John Morrison vs. CM Punk. This oughta be interesting.

I got really bored earlier and decided what would happen if ECW was in charge of the US? So I made the cabinet for the US if ECW was in charge:

President: Paul E.
Vice President: Tommy Dreamer
Secretary of State: Raven
Secretary of Defense: Sandman
Secretary of Treasury: "The Franchise" Shane Douglas
Attorney General: Cactus Jack
Secretary of Interior: The Blue Meanie
Secretary of Agriculture: Rob Van Dam
Secretary of Commerce: Sabu
Secretary of Labor: Stevie Richards
Secretary of Health & Human Services: Mikey Whipwreck
Secretary of Housing & Development: Tazz
Secretary of Transportation: Balls Mahoney
Secretary of Energy: Chris Jericho
Secretary of Education: Cactus Jack
Secretary of Veterans Affairs: Terry Funk
Secretary of Homeland Security: Steve Austin

If you think you can do better then me. Post it!

Forgot About Lesnar's Stuff .. RIP Moolah

I forgot to mention the new information on Brock Lesnar just now. He'll be debuting at UFC 81 against Frank Mir. Here is an article I gathered from MMANEWS.com:

According to Dave Meltzer of WrestlingObserver.com, Brock Lesnar's opponent has been officially confirmed and the terms of the contracts have been agreed to by both sides.

At UFC 81 on February 2nd it will be the former WWE superstar and NCAA amateur wrestling champion Brock Lesnar facing off against former UFC Heavyweight champion and dangeorus submission specialist Frank Mir.

What a crazy match to book considering Lesnar will want the takedown and once there, Mir has an incredibly dangerous guard and submission game for a newcomer like Lesnar to deal with.

In any matter, it's official - Brock Lesnar vs. Frank Mir for UFC 81 on February 2nd.

RIP Fabulous Moolah. You will be forever missed and remembered as the longest reigning champion at 28 years.

Stipulation Added to Survivor Series .. Speaking of SS Current Card .. Lesnar's First Opponent Announced .. Genesis Card .. Snow Gets Engaged

First off, let's get some PPV cards out of the way. Let's do a quick run down of the Survivor Series card currently.
  • Randy Orton (c) vs. Shawn Michaels (WWE Championship) - There is a special stipulation added that I'll go over later.
  • Batista (c) vs. Undertaker (World Heavyweight Championship) - Hell in a Cell (Woohoo!)
  • Triple H, the Hardy Boyz (going old skool on that one =]), Rey-Rey and Kane vs. Umaga, Mr. Kennedy, MVP, Finley, and BDV.
  • Hornswoggle vs. The Great Khali

For some reason I think this PPV is going to shape up to be a decent one. And with word of Jericho's return after it I'm really looking forward to it because it means we're one day closer to a revisit of the Attitude Era.

Speaking of Attitude Era, that has to be one of the funniest Raws I have ever seen. I even got to see Duggan and Super Crazy! First 20 minutes was just DX. Memorable quote:

Triple H: Everything's cool right?
Shawn Michaels: You know I don't know cool! I'm a father of two, all I know is Higglytown Heros and the Wiggles!

Sorry, I found that amazingly hilarious. And THANK YOU Stone Cold Steve Austin for shutting Santino up. Although I'll miss "can of ass whip", "stomping a mud pie", and "that's the bottom lines". Oh well. Also, did anyone else catch the little kid in the front row who got the full on frontal of beer? That ain't cool. And it's great to see Snitsky back! Not really ...

Ahh yes, the Survivor Series stipulation I was speaking of earlier. Randy Orton requested to have the Sweet Chin Music banned from the match, and indeed it was. But, if Orton gets disqualified the title goes to Shawn Michaels. Look out for a good match.

The wedding bells will eventually be ringing in the future of Al Snow and his new fiance Cynthia "Bobcat" Lynch, who was a WWE Hardcore Champion while she was there. Al Snow is still training down in OVW. Congrats!

Nowww, the Genesis line-up. Genesis is this Sunday so buy it! It promises to be a good one. Raven will always weasel his way in, as usual.

  • Kurt Angle (c) & Kevin Nash vs. Sting & His Mystery Partner (we'll delve into potentials later) (TNA Championship): Who ever pins whoever in this match will leave the TNA Champion.
  • Samoan Joseph vs. Robert "It Pays To Be" Roode
  • Team 3D vs. MCMG - Battle for the pride of the X-Division
  • Gail Kim (c) vs. Roxxi Laveaux vs. ODB vs. Angel Williams (Women's Championship)
  • Black Reign vs. Abyss - Shop of Horrors match.

We have a few questions going into this PPV. The first is, who is Sting's mystery partner? TNA is trying to get us to believe it's Scott Hall but it can't be, Hall was never a World Champion in WWE, he was only Intercontinental Champion. The only other free agents that fit this description would be Rob Van Dam and Booker T, and RVD seems to be having fun doing what he's doing so I'm leaning towards Booker T. Good luck with TNA. Hopefully he doesn't Test/Junior Fatu you.

The other question, for myself anyway, is what the hell is a Shop of Horrors match? I'm sure this Thursday there will be a Black Reign job-out match where they tell us what it is. I look forward to finding it. Hopefully it's not a creation from the mind of Russo, I won't like it as much. Raven could have possibly thought it up? I mean, he did do Hangman's Horror and House of Fun so I could see him using his Mensa sized intelligence to do it again.

Remember, you can also catch me at The Daily Suplex. Beginning at Genesis I will also be posting my PPV Predictions and results there.

Until tomorrow.

Cyber Sunday Predictions

I'm posting everyday from now on. Even when no real news is there, just whatever.

These predictions could get hairy so bare with me people.

  • Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy, Shawn Michaels or Mr. Kennedy (WWE Title): Kennedy has no shot in hell after his steroids issue. Shawn Michaels is a definate shoe in for it, but if he does get voted in he won't win because of his knees. Jeff Hardy has a huge shoe in for it too buttttt, he won't win it because of his current title reign. PROBABLE WINNER: RANDY ORTON
  • Batista vs. Undertaker (World Heavyweight Title) (With Referee of JBL, Stone Cold or Mick Foley): This really doesn't matter. Batista is keeping the title fair and square. We shouldn't drop it to Taker so hastily. Keep this going and you'll have a good feud on your hands. As far as referees go, it's either going to be Foley or Austin. Nobody likes JBL and as Randy Orton so nicely put it, "If they don't like you, they won't vote for you." PROBABLE WINNER: BATISTA
  • CM Punk vs. BDV, John Morrison, or The Miz - Definately not BDV, people like CM Punk and that's like throwing him to the wolves. The most likely person chosen is Morrison and Morrison will get the title if he does go in. If Miz is voted in, we'll probably see some Balls Mahoney in there but I predict Morrison going in and winning. PROBABLE WINNER: MORRISON
  • MVP vs. Matt Hardy (US Title) (MMA, Wrestling, or Boxing Match): I'm sure everyone is going to vote MMA or Wrestling because they all want Hardy to win and Boxing doesn't go so great for him. Butttt, Hardy might be dropped tonight after the injury he sustained at Smackdown (which was legit, that huge cut on his head is legit and on accident). His head got caught on Rey Rey's leg brace and he got cut open. Anyway, I think MVP is keeping the title. If they do drop this, this would the second consecutive last minute PPV roster switch because of injury creative would have made. PROBABLE WINNER: MVP
  • Triple H vs. Umaga (Street Fight, No DQ, or First Blood match): It's definately going to Triple H and it's going to be a First Blood or Street Fight. PROBABLE WINNER: TRIPLE H
  • Rey Mysterio vs. Finley (Shilleglah on a Pole, Stretcher, or No DQ): You've got to be joking me, what a stupid match. Seriously. All of the concept matches for this suck. This match sucks so much I won't even make a prediction on it.
  • Halloween Costume Contest (Mickie James, Melina, Maria, Victoria, Torrie Wilson, Michelle McCool, Kelly Kelly, Layla, Brooke): It's going to break down and there will be no winner. We're going to have a huge cat fight. It'll be pretty funny to watch. PROBABLE WINNER: ALL NON-GAY MEN OF THE WORLD

I hate this PPV.

Oh, and who's ready for Chris Jericho?

My thoughts no a few things .. Lesnar Signs with UFC

I've got a few things to get off my chest.

1. TNA is going to become the next WCW. With The Outsiders returning and more power hungry wrestlers winning over a very lax owner something bad is bound to happen. Then we've got Vince Russo, one of the main people blamed for the fall of WCW. The whole formula just smells fishy. Something really bad is going to happen and my feelings are if Dixie/Angle/Russo win then TNA will be on a gradual slide and will soon see the same WCW fate. Go Jarrett!

2. ECW is done by the end of the year. There is no salvaging it. It'll become just as insignificant as Heat and Velocity. We might as well start the next book, The Rise and Fall of ECW Pt. 2. It's gonna be unfortunate but what did you expect? They advertise it under ECW but they treat it like it's WWE. Why can't we go back to what ECW was? ECW had an attitude where you could ask fans in the front row to hand you their chair and you wouldn't get pulled aside by Paul Heyman afterward. It was an environment that just bred insanity, which is what ECW was all about. Thanks Vince, for further massacring ECW. It's appreciated.

In better news, it was revealed at UFC 77 last night Brock Lesnar has finally signed a deal with UFC. No details are known about his debut date or his debut opponent. Good luck to him, from what I hear he's really good at it.

School Sucks .. Booker, Sharmell FINALLY Released .. CM Punk, Maria Done .. Couture vs. Emelianenko? .. PPV Prediction Results for BFG and More

I'm so behind from school, so I apologize if this is really really amazingly long, but when you're behind it's what must be done.

The word is out from WWE.com "King" Booker and "Queen" Sharmell have been released. I'm not sure who didn't see this coming but I know I did. More on releases, Daivari was released as was Teddy Hart, which completely screws up the New Hart Foundation type of thing they were looking for. We shall have to see where this goes.

Maria said in an interview that CM Punk and herself have been broken up for about 4 months. This should be good news to many guys around the world. And chicks as well.

Randy Couture vs. Fedor Emelianenko could still happen. Cage Fighting Championships (CFC) is offering $3 mil to get these two to go at it for them. $1 million up front for each fighter and then the other $1 million going to the winner. I'm cheering and rooting this one, but unfortunately they are going to showing it on PPV and I don't have a shot at buying PPV. This sucks.

My Bound for Glory picks were near perfect! I got them all right except for Jay Lethal vs. Christopher Daniels. I then noticed a pattern which was confirmed later by ewrestlingnews.com, they always let the face win so the people can go home happy. Not one heel won last night, that's a little abnormal and I hope we see some type of revenge from the heels on TNA this week and next week. Hmm, Raven hunting down Abyss anyone?

According to WWE.com Armando Estrada and Vicki Guerrero have been in "talks" about unifying both ECW and Smackdown so all talent can appear on both shows. This could mean one thing, ECW could be once again on it's way out. SciFi hasn't been really impressed with it's rating supposedly although it's one the highest rated shows on their network. This is completely ridiculous. If you're going to combine brands, do it Attitude Era style and have it all together. Obviously this brand extension stuff isn't working. WWE seriously needs a fire lit under it's ass, like TNA getting heavy ratings and moving to Monday night (which, in Vince's words, has "no chance in hell").

This is getting sickening seriously.

No Mercy Predictions

For some reason this PPV sounds really boring. Anyway, predictions away!
  • ??? vs. ??? (for WWE Championship) - Hmm, the real question is, who's going to be in this match? My feelings are Orton and Kennedy. Kennedy was in a big push prior to his suspension and was set to win the title sometime later in the year or in 2008. Word is Orton was supposed to win it this time around. Another good idea I heard was Jericho vs. Orton, but that seems highly unlikely, although it would be very interesting. PROBABLE WINNER: RANDY ORTON
  • Batista (c) vs. Khali (World Heavyweight Championship [Punjabi Prison]) - Hmm, stupid gimmick match? I think so. This match just annoys me, the entire idea of a Punjabi Prison match just sickens me, it's something you'd throw Abyss in, not Batista and Khali. Anyway, I'm still pulling for Batista. PROBABLE WINNER: BATISTA
  • Triple H vs. Uma(n)ga - I still can't get over the fact that William Regal calls Umaga Umanga. But, that's besides the point. This match could get very interesting, with a few run-ins from VKM (not Voodoo Kin Mafia dummy) it should be interesting. My money's on Triple H however. PROBABLE WINNER: TRIPLE H
  • CM Punk (c) vs. Big Daddy V (ECW Heavyweight Championship): I think I've already made my point known on this match. PROBABLE WINNER: CM PUNK
  • Finley vs. Rey Mysterio - The build up for this match I've been missing because of field shows with the marching band *shakes head*. Anyway, I'm not really sure so I'll throw this one out randomly. PROBABLE WINNER: REY MYSTERIO
  • Candice Michelle (c) vs. Beth Phoenix (WWE Women's Championship) - This time around I think Phoenix has Candice's number. Seriously, Phoenix is going to beat some ass in this match no doubt about it. I know I've said this for the past Phoenix vs. Candice matches, but this time I've got an inkling I might be right. PROBABLE WINNER: BETH PHOENIX

Alright, interesting news outside of No Mercy. Hmmm, well James Mitchell is working on a new stable that will include Raven (wow, he's going to be a follower, how sad), Havok, Judas Mesias, and Black Reign. Something tells me this is just a mish-mash or Serotonin is just aligned with them for the meantime and Raven really isn't taking orders from anybody. Anyway, Monster's Ball involving Raven, Black Reign, Abyss, and Rhino. This is gonna be sweet.

The first two-hour iMPACT! rocked! I loved it!

TNA is in talks with a former Intercontinental and European Champion (WWE titles) according to their mobile service (which I need to subscribe to once I get a good phone). And by process of elimination that's either D'Lo Brown and RVD since the other guys are already under WWE contract or are under TNA contract. RVD is open to TNA while D'Lo is still hoping for a new shot with WWE, so we'll see.

I'm done, for now.

Cena Injured .. Possibilites for Replacement Match? .. Michaels might not be returning .. Predictions for Burke/Dreamer tonight

Well, I guess John Cena was really injured because this afternoon they finally pulled him from the No Mercy card and cancelled his big Last Man Standing match against Randy Orton. They're also going to be stripping him of the title. Which leaves us with this question, who will be in the new match? Of course, we know Randy Orton for a fact will be involved. But, by my going through process of elimination on the roster, I came up with his possible opponent being Mr. Kennedy. Kennedy tends to bust people's shoulders and Orton is "The Legend Killer" so it'll work out great. Plus, Kennedy has absolutely nothing to do at No Mercy, and all they need is one match out of him. He's back from suspension and they aren't going to award him with a title just yet. I'm know for a fact that Orton will get the title this time around. Trust me.

According to word Shawn Michaels may not be returning. The Game has been trying to talk him into it but Michaels just appears to want to stay home and spend time with his family. It's understandable, but don't leave us with such a sour taste in our mouths? Just at least come back for one last retirement match to make everyone happy.

It really doesn't matter who wins the Tommy Dreamer vs. Elijah Burke match tonight as for neither will win the title when they face CM Punk. CM Punk is supposed to drop the title back to John Morrison now that he's off suspension. I'm leaning for Burke to win however, but if Dreamer wins I'm sure that the 'ECW' chant will be heard 'round the world.

New Video (And More Stupid Theories)

Yes, tonight we got a new Y2J video, which makes me believe that we'll be getting a new one every week until something goes down. The new video now says 8.2.11/SAVIOR_SELF.

So, all together we have:
Save_us.222
8.2.11/SAVIOR_SELF

Am I the only one who noticed a play on words here?
Savior Self = Save Yourself

Maybe he's not coming back at No Mercy? Hmmm. Interesting.

I just heard a pretty outrageous theory, to me anyway, somebody is trying to pass it off as HBK, here is what was said since I couldn't put it in better terms (I got this from ewrestlingnews.com):

The video tonight seemed to be more about HBK than Jericho. It said 8-2-11 alot. H being the 8th letter of the alphabet, B being second, and K being 11th. It also said grand slam, HBK being the first ever grand slam champ. The Savior thing could also have something to do with the ultra religious HBK. It also said big show and no one turns it up for a big PPV like the Showstopper. Last week I'd say was about Jericho, this week seemed to be about HBK.

I just think that's over thinking. So now the possiblities are Chris Jericho, The New Hart Foundation (highly doubted), and HBK (even more highly doubted since HBK wants to stay home with his family longer).

That's about all for now.

Crazy Week in Wrestling

Here is the week basically in a summary with bullets because if I wrote paragraphs they'd be long and tedious.

Raw:
  • All of the suspended WWE superstars are going to be off suspension.
  • Mr. Kennedy is set to be wrestling tonight.
  • Of course the Triple H vs. Mr. McMahon match.
  • We'll also be seeing the furthering of the Mr. Kennedy is a McMahon storyline.
  • More information on the SAVE_US.222.
  • Return of Stone Cold Steve Austin was a program with Santino

ECW:

  • Since the ECW roster only has 13 active wrestlers beginning this week they'll be calling up all kinds of people from OVW according to sources to supplement. So, seeing new people will be great.

iMPACT!:

  • Of course the fact it's going to 2 hours!
  • We'll be seeing all of our favorite jobbers (which is just a guess since I haven't read the spoilers).

Smackdown:

  • Suspended wrestlers returning.
  • New Hart Foundation expected to come up to Smackdown (just not this week but eventually).
  • What the plans on with Vickie Guerrero. How is she going to handle being interim GM?
  • What's going to happen to Kristal? Is she moving to Raw?
  • How is Teddy fairing?

This is a huge week. Look out for some good stuff.

TNA & ECW have same rating .. Jericho or New Hard Foundation? .. BDV is angry

Since all this Jericho stuff has slowed down news has next to stopped. I've only got one Jericho update. Supposedly they were pitching this SAVE_US.222 for either Jericho or the New Hart Foundation. Something to get people thinking, but by the evidence I've seen it has to be Jericho.

The rating for ECW this week is a 1.1, which is next to the same as iMPACT!'s 1.08 last week. Hmm, could we have a Tuesday/Thursday War on our hand here? That's pretty pathetic.

After the ECW show when BDV was leaving the ring he was being heckled by fans, and he was heckling right back. Yelling at people and pegging people off, Striker is the one who has to basically push him backstage. He almost went after somebody in the audience but luckily Striker and security stopped him. Where does he think he is? Mexico?

Chris Jericho! (My Opinions) .. Kidman Return..In TNA?? .. Orton is Married .. Hardcore Holly Returns? Amazing

Not really much news today considering everyone's tied up on the Chris Jericho story. I mean, this is truly awesome, amazing. I'm impressed, WWE has done a great job of getting us intrigued again. Firstly, here's the video:

I think everyone is over interpreting this but I am going to bring up some good points.
  • They mention a ton of Jericho's title matches, they mention his matches for hardcore titles, when he won the heavyweight title, and when he won the IC title. Not to mention the year he won KOR (King of the Ring).
  • A "Save Us Y2J" poster was seen in the crowd the other night. (SaveUs.222)
  • Chris Jericho doesn't have a myspace, so don't believe that malarkey. Plus, why would he kill his own storyline? Only rookies like The Naturals do that.
  • Catman has been seen. Hmm, Lion Heart anyone?
  • Jericho hasn't slated any book signings for any Mondays in October.
  • Bookshelf is also mentioned in there somewhere.
  • Jericho debuted in 1999 interrupting The Rock and according to sources that's mentioned in there.
  • There is a part that does a very well hidden Jericho-style countdown.
  • Billy Gun isn't involved in the least. Neither is Gail Kim OR Mr. Kennedy.
  • There is a voice that says "I'm Back".
  • 7OCT = The date for No Mercy. This is also shown in the video.
  • Anymore details can be founds here.

Complete insanity. On to other debut news, TNA is going to be debuting a woman wrestler soon, so look out for that on the road to BFG. Billy Kidman has been backstage at the last 2 TNA tapings and could have been backstage at No Surrender and quite possibly tonight. I'll keep you updated on that one. How cool would it be to have Kidman and Raven back together again? They can take Havok under their wing and start a new Flock. Sort of.

The reason Randy Orton hasn't been seen on TV nor at house shows is because he got married over the weekend. Congrats to him :)

Who else was surprised when Hardcore Holly returned? I thought the guy was a goner after him still having discomfort in his elbow. Oh, and wasn't Cody Rhodes supposed to be getting a push? Whatever. Also, did you hear tons of people shout "Kennedy!"?

I'll keep you updated on more Jericho stuff.

EDIT: Steve Austin will be returning on next Monday's Raw. He'll be promoting The Condemned and starting fights like he always does.

Junior Fatu, Killlings, Pacman Up In Air .. Is Teddy Okay? .. Nash, Dawn Marie Return?

Alrighty, see I'm already keeping my promise. :)

Anyway, let's do some quick TNA news. Junior Fatu has yet to sign a deal, so currently we already know that he'll have a role in the first two 2-hour iMPACT!s. TNA is trying to get him to sign a contract. Jeff Jarrett is pushing to get Pacman in the ring again and if he does The Truth and Pacman will last a little bit longer than it is since it's currently set to end at BFG. TNA is also torn on bringing Big Sexy back into the ring to wrestle, with it being Russo vs. Mantel, Jarrett ultimately making the decision. Time will tell. There is also talk of Dawn Marie going to TNA, supposedly she wants to get back into it and she's friends with Dixie Carter, who has held the door open for her when/if she wants to come back. Also, time will tell with that one.

WWE offered up this update on Teddy Long's condition after his Friday night collapse during his wedding (which I'll discuss the good parts of in a few):
It was supposed to be a beautiful night for Theodore Long and his fiancé Kristal. After months of preparation, the loving couple were finally set to say “I do”. But the evening turned horrific when the groom unexpectedly clutched his chest and fell to the ground. With an understandably upset Kristal screaming by his side, the SmackDown General Manager was motionless and unresponsive as SmackDown went off the air.

After being rushed to a local medical facility, Long’s doctors claim the groom was suffering from hypertension, which was worsened by the ingestion of the erectile dysfunction medicine Viagra.

“Mr. Long then suffered a myocardial infraction with cardio myopathy,” claims WWE’s Dr. Ferdinand Rios. “As a result, he is currently semi-comatose.”

According to Dr. Rios, Long has been slipping in and out of consciousness since early Saturday morning. At the moment, a long-term diagnosis is difficult to make. Long is currently under around-the-clock supervision, as the next few days are critical.

So, basically we have a dying Smackdown GM on our hands. The question is, if he does indeed pass off who'll take over him, and who's going to take over for him in the interim? You can't be GM whilst in a coma. This is going to be interesting. Should keep an on eye on WWE.com and see if they announce anything on there. Also, could this be a rouse to retire him? He seems old enough to wave the WWE good-bye and ride off into the sunset.

Speaking of that wedding, I got back from my football game (I'm in the marching band so I play field show/in the stands) just in time, they were just bringing Reverend Bruce Bruce out. I was excited but I knew it wasn't going to end all wonderful (I mean seriously, did you see Billy and Chuck?). Anyway, the Godfather always turns up for weddings and I was so happy to see the Godfather I started yelling. Then all of the guys leave with him. We have Jillian Hall singing, Godfather, Hornwoggle freaking out. Seriously, up until the Teddy dropping part I was laughing so hard you have no idea. I was highly entertained and not disappointed by this wedding in the least. I just wanna see how they play out the whole Teddy thing.

I Need To Speed Up .. TNA stars want to leave .. TNA BFG Women's Division .. Unforgiven Predictions (was I right?) .. and More.

I seriously need to keep up on this blog. From now on I make a promise to write everyday even if there is no serious news to go around.

Alright, here is what went down with my Unforgiven predictions. I drew it even on this PPV, I thought I was going to have a losing record but I didn't do that bad. Here are the ones I was spot on with.

  • CM Punk vs. Elijah Burke: This was easy, the "plan" is for the title to go back to Morrison when he's back from suspension. Nobody else is getting this title. MY CHOICE: CM PUNK
  • Triple H vs. Carlito: Easy enough, he's in the middle of a push so of course he's going to win. MY CHOICE: TRIPLE H
  • John Cena vs. Randy Orton: I was right technically in this one. Randy DID win by DQ (and get punted to boot) but he didn't win the title. MY CHOICE: RANDY ORTON
  • Undertaker vs. Mark Henry: Taker in the middle of a push too so of course he was going to win, plus it's a return match. I heard it wasn't that remarkable of a match either. How come all the big guys always look cool but never have good matches? It makes no sense. MY CHOICE: UNDERTAKER

So with that being said, here are the losers.

  • MVP & Matt Hardy vs. Deuce & Domino: What the heck happened here? I'm not sure what I was thinking saying "Oh yeah, D&D are gonna win." Shouldn't I have realized that odd couples that win titles never lose them until the descension becomes too much? MY CHOICE: DEUCE AND DOMINO
  • Candice Michelle vs. Beth Phoenix: What was that all about? "All of a sudden"??? Something bad must of happened for this match to end this way. MY CHOICE: BETH PHOENIX
  • The Great Khali vs. Batista vs. Rey Mysterio: So this is the only way that Batista can win a title? If Rey Rey joins him in the ring? You'd think they'd give the guy that's coming back a push for the title then have him fight Batista over it? That would have made compelling TV. MY CHOICE: THE GREAT KHALI
  • Cade & Murdoch vs. Kendrick & London: Wow, what was that all about? MY CHOICE: LONDON & KENDRICK

Now let's get to subject of firings and quitting. In WWE firing news Sandman and Marcus Cor Von have been fired. The reasons behind Cor Von is because he hasn't been seen on TV in a long time because of his family problems and I guess WWE has just had enough of it. Supposedly Sandman's was a little out of left field though. He was a model employee and would always offer to help put people over (supposedly), so to everyone backstage it was either a shock or not one depending on who you ask because supposedly creative had nothing for him either. Whatever. Now in the TNA department supposedly there are a few stars who want to leave, Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, LAX, and Sonjay Dutt among them. Sabin & Shelley would like to go to Japan because they have the tag titles over there while the others just want out. TNA has told them to wait it out until 2 hour where they'll be getting more TV time (but we know how TNA is about that ..)

The TNA Women's Division's main star will be .. Gail Kim! Yes, she'll be representing the title and it will be based around her, that's not saying she'll win it but she'll be the flagship star of the whole thing. The money drawing name if you will. I think Jackie and Hemme will too since they're all former WWE Divas.

Judas Mesias has only been here a few weeks and already he's got some killer injuries going. During a show he did in Mexico he was doing a dive onto somebody from a 20 foot ladder in the floor but they moved and he had no cushion and he got knocked out. He's also battling some sciatica. His recovery time cuts right into the TNA tapings for the first 2 hour shows. This does not bode well for TNA.

Unforgiven Predictions

Sorry if I seem a few days behind, I decided to take a quick break from wrestling blogging because of band and school (I'm being jam packed at the moment). As most of you know, tonight is WWE's Unforgiven PPV, featuring the return of the man who can't be destroyed, Undertaker. Here is what I think will go down, from the bottom of the card, up.
  • MVP & Matt Hardy (c) vs. Deuce and Domino [w/ Cherry] (WWE Tag Team Championship Match): Alright, one of two things could happen here. MVP and Matt Hardy could stop being so sarcastically nice to one another, work together, and pull this thing off. The other thing is that they could pull a Sting and Kurt Angle and turn on each other, ultimately losing their titles. We could also see another Matt Hardy doing all the work and MVP picking up the scraps and winning for them. Personally, I think they'll lose the titles to Deuce and Domino so they can focus more on the US title. PROBABLE WINNERS: DEUCE AND DOMINO
  • Candice Michelle (c) vs. Beth Phoenix (Women's Championship Match): I'm behind Beth Phoenix on this one 100%. The only possible way Candice Michelle can win this match is by outside involvement (highly unlikely) or just really kicking her butt (which is also highly unlikely). This is Phoenix's push, therefore she shall pick up the victory and the title. PROBABLE WINNER: BETH PHOENIX
  • Cade & Murdoch (c) vs. London & Kendrick (World Tag Team Championship Match): I'm totally behind London and Kendrick. Since they hold the record for most days holding the other tag title, wouldn't it be fitting if they did that with this title too? Then again I could be bias because I've never really seen Cade & Murdoch wrestle, maybe once I've seen them wrestle. London & Kendrick have already won the title, who says they can't do it again? PROBABLE WINNERS: LONDON & KENDRICK
  • CM Punk (c) vs. Elijah Burke (ECW Championship Match): CM Punk can't drop the title, he's going back against John Morrison and giving it back to him when he's off suspension. PROBABLE WINNER: CM PUNK
  • Undertaker vs. Mark Henry: Undertaker is gonna put an end to Mark Henry once and for all. I'm sick of seeing him in the ring going on and on about how he "took out" the Undertaker. I'm sorry, but nobody "takes out" Taker, that's not right. Taker is gonna put him in his place. PROBABLE WINNER: UNDERTAKER
  • Triple H vs. Carlito: When was the last time Carlito won a match? PROBABLE WINNER: TRIPLE H
  • The Great Khali (c) vs. Batista vs. Rey Mysterio (World Heavyweight Championship Match) - The Great Khali will keep the title after completely annihilating both Batista and Rey-Rey. In the end though, they will put up a good fight, but I don't think two men can knock Khali. It just doesn't seem right. PROBABLE WINNER: KHALI
  • John Cena (c) vs. Randy Orton (WWE Championship Match): You can only hold a title for so long until it gets old. Randy will pick up the victory, since Cena's head will be in another place (just like Samoa Joe's at No Surrender in a match he lost). Plus, it's about Randy's time. PROBABLE WINNER: RANDY ORTON

I'll write some more news later tonight, and I'll write tomorrow to let you know if I was correct, or if I wasn't. As usual. =]

TNA No Surrender Right or Wrong?

Well, the announcement was what we thought, 2 hour iMPACT! starting October 4th. It will air from 9-11 EST. This could bode well for some of the jobbers in TNA (think Lance Hoyt, Raven, and Havok). Unfortunately there was no news on the signing of the "former World Champion" but it has been confirmed they DID sign someone. We're not going to be finding out soon.

Alright, here are the matches I'm right on. Tonight, I actually had a winning record.
  • Rhino vs. James Storm: This was an easy one. We knew Rhino was gonna win from the get go. Rhino beat him down. And, what did I tell you, Storm was gonna bring alcohol to the ring (in this case a keg). Rhino gored Jackie too, even better. WINNER: RHINO
  • Kaz vs. Robert Roode: This is not over, trust me. I thought Kaz, but it's not that easy with Robert Roode. Roode was pissed at Ms. Brooks for not really helping him out. I think Kaz might have just made life worse for Ms. Brooks, as much as he doesn't want to admit it. We'll see where this goes, but with more and more people getting mad at Robert Roode for what he's been doing, Kaz is going to have a lot of back up. WINNER: ROBERT ROODE
  • Black Reign vs. Chris Harris: Chris Harris has just completely had it with this guy, and I don't blame him. And now Black Reign's carrying around a rat called Misty, dude seriously this guy has recessed into his own mind. I like how BR's introduced though, "From the deepest, darkest part of his mind", I think that's a pretty cool way to be introduced. Black Reign did beat him down at the end of the match though, but Harris still pulled it off. Supposedly the match was really uneventful, so it sucked. We did see a change in Harris though, maybe we'll see more of this? WINNER: CHRIS HARRIS
  • Samoa Joe vs. Christian Cage: Dude, Samoa Joe SNAPPED and I think that's the only reason why I was right. Plus, he snapped because of what Christian Cage did on Thursday to his Samoan Dancer. I can't get over this dude, I was even right on WHY he won. Amazing. WINNER: CHRISTIAN CAGE
  • Abyss vs. Kurt Angle (c) (For the TNA Heavyweight Title): Dude, Angle took him OUT! And what did I say, Judas Messias was going to have involvement, I can't wait to see how this turns out on iMPACT! WINNER: KURT ANGLE

Now, here is where I was wrong.

  • Kurt Angle & Sting (c) vs. Team Pacman (Pacman & Ron Killings) (TNA Tag Titles): This one I couldn't believe, just wow. What a one-sided tag team they're going to be. With Killings doing all the work, or K-Kwik as many WWE fans would know him as (I finally did my research on that and I right). But Team Pacman "Got Rowdy" in this one and pulled off the victory. I think this match could lead into a Sting vs. Kurt Angle feud because of what Karen Angle lied about. WINNERS: TEAM PACMAN
  • Jay Lethal vs. Kurt Angle (c) (TNA X Division Title): Well, I guess Jay Lethal pulled his "B7!" because he did get Kurt Angle's number on this one. This one I wasn't expecting but it's what Kurt Angle gets, now he's got just one title which works out and seems better. Now the Tag Titles are back with an actual tag team and the X Division is back in the X Division. All is calm in the world. WINNER: JAY LETHAL
  • TNA Tag Team Gauntlet (#1 Contender for Tag Titles): Alright, I started out with LAX, VKM, Team 3D, MCMG, or Triple X as my predicted winners. I later changed it to LAX, Triple X, or Shark Boy & Eric Young. Well, I came amazingly close, Eric Young was the last person eliminated. If I had stuck with MCMG I would have come even closer. But, half way through the match I was started thinking that Tomko & AJ Styles would win and, they did. They beat MCMG. WINNERS: TOMKO & AJ STYLES

Sorry that was so long, but it was a crazy night and not as wonderful as I hoped it would be. They're taping 3 episodes of iMPACT! tomorrow which should last them until they get their 2 hour spot. Hopefully we'll be seeing Raven sometime soon because of the control of his health problems.

Actually Excited For PPV? .. Announcements .. Booker T Hands in Notice .. Ric Flair Retraction .. Suspension Thing Gone Awry .. Change My Mind

For the first time in my life I'm actually excited for a TNA PPV. For some reason this one just seems like it's going to intrigue me greatly. I'll be using 2xzone.com and TNA.com to get the live updates online. Hopefully they do it fast enough so that I can know who gets eliminated in order during the Gauntlet match. Dude, why the hell do they call it a Gauntlet? That's kinda dumb.

Supposedly the 2 major announcements are the two hours and the signing. Obviously the new person isn't going to be there because nobody backstage even knows.

Booker T handed in his 2 weeks notice because he doesn't want to serve his 60 day suspension (so he definately was suspended). I don't see why he didn't quit long ago, he's as old as Raven and has tons of other things working for him outside of WWE. So, just go, please. And bring that skank of a wife with you.

Ric Flair got asked in an interview if he really quit WWE to which he replied that he didn't. He said he's going back to that same station next week where he'll talk more about it.

This whole suspension thing has gotten crazy, we still have no clue who has been suspended. Which is just out of control. At this point, I really just don't care.

I change my mind on my decision for the Tag Team Gauntlet match set for tonight. I'm taking a few people off my list and adding some. The ones I originally chose were Motor City Machineguns, Triple X, LAX, VKM, and Team 3D. I'm taking off MCMG, VKM, and Team 3D. MCMG needs to do more work on air, VKM has better things to do, and Team 3D need to finish off The Steiners. I ended up watching The Road To No Surrender last night and EY and Shark Boy won a match for the #20 slot, which EY is getting. I'm throwing them in there as the dark horses. REVISED PROBABLE WINNER(S): Triple X, LAX, or EY & Shark Boy

See you guys DIRECTLY AFTER the PPV (for the first time) with the results and if I was right or wrong. =]

Oh, and by the way ..

Happy Birthday Raven!

Raven turns 43 today.

Major TNA Announcement .. No Surrender Predictions .. Raven Feeling Better

Hello hello, I finally have TNA news. =] TNA has been teasing at a major announcement set to be announced this Sunday at No Surrender. Obviously it's going to have something to do with the 2 hours, but they're also talking about a new wrestler secretly being signed and that they will be announced this Sunday. I'm leaning toward it being Brock Lesnar, but I'm not sure at this moment in time. From what I know last time they had announced Kurt Angle, it would only be fitting if Brock Lesnar was announced in the same manner as his friend. Judas Messias a possibility?

Now, here are my predictions for this Sunday at No Surrender:
  • 10 Team Gauntlet Match (VKM vs. LAX vs. Team 3D vs. Motor City Machineguns vs. Triple X vs. Tomko & AJ Styles vs. Sonjay Dutt & Petey Williams vs. Raven & Havok vs. EY & Shark Boy vs. Lance Hoyt and (the debuting) Jimmy Rave): This is sort of a tough one but there are some you can automatically get rid of, Hoyt & Rave, EY & Shark Boy, Serotonin (at least what's left of it), Sonjay & Petey, and Tomko & AJ Styles. So that leaves us with LAX, Team 3D, MCMG, VKM, and Triple X. My prediction would be anyone of those, my money weighing heavily on Team 3D so they actually have a reason to fight with The Steiners over something. PROBABLE WINNER(S): VKM, LAX, TEAM 3D, MCMG, OR TRIPLE X
  • No Disqualification Match (Black Reign vs. Chris Harris): Chris Harris is definately going to find some crazy way to win, he'll find a way to get into the mind of Black Reign, which I think from his outburst on iMPACT! on Thursday he already has. Black Reign will put up a good fight, but Chris Harris will come out on top. PROBABLE WINNER: CHRIS HARRIS
  • Kazarian vs. Robert Roode: Not only is Robert "It Pays To Be" Roode going to lose his girl, he's gonna lose this match too. Kaz just has a lot of years on him and a lot of agility. I'm all for Kaz in this match, he's not my favorite guy in the world but hey, anybody is better than Robert Roode the friggin' woman beater. We all know Traci is gonna get involved, so either she'll get involved and run off with Kaz or get involved and cost Kaz the match. She'll be getting a beating at the end no matter what. Bringing up that new point, I change my mind Roode is gonna win. PROBABLE WINNER: ROBERT ROODE
  • Rhino vs. James Storm: Rhino fell off the wagon? James, have you checked yourself lately? I'm leaning toward Storm coming to the ring drunk off his ass, drunk to the point where Sandman or Steve Austin would be proud. He's probably gonna offer Rhino a beer and Rhino is just gonna beat him down. PROBABLE WINNER: RHINO
  • Samoa Joe vs. Christian Cage: With Christian's little lackeys having gotten their asses beat the beginning of the night they're not going to be happy. Either of these things could happen, we know they'll be getting involved to begin with and Samoa Joe could thwart it or he could just get his ass beat. His mind is also not in the right place after the attack on one of his Samoan dancers. Christian Cage on this one. PROBABLE WINNER: CHRISTIAN CAGE
  • X Division Championship Match (Jay Lethal vs. Kurt Angle [c]): Kurt Angle. He'll keep it. Has to. Just to rub it in everyone's faces. PROBABLE WINNER: KURT ANGLE
  • Tag Team Title Match (Team Pacman {Pacman Jones & Ron Killings} vs. Kurt Angle & Sting [c]): Once again, just to rub it in everyone's faces Kurt Angle & Sting will retain the titles. I thought Pacman wasn't supposed to be wrestling? PROBABLE WINNERS: KURT ANGLE & STING
  • Heavyweight Championship Match (Abyss vs. Kurt Angle [c]): Judas Messias will get involved and cost Abyss the match. Or, Abyss could win and then feud with Judas over it, which I highly doubt. Kurt Angle will win just to rub. PROBABLE WINNER: KURT ANGLE

That's how that goes. According to sources Raven's health problems have slowed down so we'll be seeing him on TV a lot more often, which makes me very excited. =]

Test Released .. Flair Hands in Notice .. Benoit Had Brain Damage

TNA released Andrew Martin today. Supposedly he didn't mesh with anyone backstage that much, which means he was a major ass. Isn't he known for that though? Supposedly they asked him to shrink up a little bit muscle wise. Never thought you'd hear a wrestling company say that.

It's become public that Ric Flair handed in his 2-week notice a few weeks ago. WWE hasn't granted his release yet and are doing everything they can to keep him though. Speaking of signing people, there is a HIGH chance that Chris Jericho will return to WWE after the amount of money they supposedly offered him.

It turns out Chris Benoit had severe brain damage when he killed his wife & son and then himself. According to the doctor who did the examination his brain resembled that of a "85-year-old Alzheimer's patient". I feel that it could have been a huge contributing factor.

Henry Not Leaving .. JR Up In The Air .. WWE Return News .. McMahons To Become Regulars .. Names Mentioned As Suspended on Wikipedia

Alright, now we've got some decently normal, non-release/suspension related news.

Mark Henry inked a new deal that extends his contract so that he's not leaving after Unforgiven which would give Taker and himself a better storyline. I would think that they'd make this storyline longer just so they can build Taker up some speed after his return at Unforgiven. Then he'll move on to other stuff.

Speaking of contracts, JR's one year contract is about to expire and according to sources there have been no talks with him, but they also haven't been working on someone to take his place. Nothing much else is known at this point but when word comes around I'll let you know.

Now some WWE return news, opposite direction than what we've heard. WWE might be trying to rush Shawn Michael's return which is something that HBK isn't too keen on. They're still working on trying to bring him back though so we'll see where this goes. Chris Jericho is also in talks to return to WWE, and he's probably going to be getting a deal that's more to his liking than anybody else's. His agent, Barry Bloom, says that Jericho has a lot of leverage. I'm sure that he'll use it to his advantage. Unfortunately, it's not going to be a "right away" return, just like HBK's. I'll keep you updated.

After tonight Stephanie, Linda, and Shane are going to become regulars to WWE television again. They're also thinking about bringing the fact that Steph & HHH are married back to TV because everyone already knows as is.

Wikipedia mentioned a few suspended names. They've got King Booker, Umaga, William Regal, Chavo Guerrero, Chris Masters, and John Morrison. Sharmell isn't going to be around either until KB comes back.

This Is Friggin' INSANITY!

Not only are we suspending people, which is supposedly, according to Stephanie McMahon at yesterday's ECW/Smackdown talent meeting at about 13 (this could be wrong or they're BSing the media).

WWE released Cryme Tyme today after an incident that involved them and Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch at a house show. So there goes the fun and games that were actually making Raw interesting. Eugene was released too as previously reported. Are they trying to clear out the locker rooms or what?

Tommy Dreamer has taken Simon Dean's place in the interim until they find a replacement. They're thinking either Ty Bailey or Val Venis, Ty works in the office and Val has been in WWE forever. I seriously want to see Tommy on TV and I think Val Venis just needs to stop jobbing and find something else to do.

Batista wants to sue the media for saying his name in the whole pharmacy thing. He says he never bought anything from them and he's pissed off that Sports Illustrated and other places mentioned his name.

The business has fallen into turmoil in the span of a week. My question is, what's going to happen to TNA?

People We KNOW Are Suspended (Spoilers) .. WWE Spoils It's Own Storyline, Dummies

Alright, from information I've gathered, we have a few people that we know for a fact are suspended. Mr. Kennedy and Umaga are said to be going to a Raw house show. Chris Masters is the mysterious 60 day person because only Randy Orton and himself were doubletime offenders. Supposedly Randy wasn't suspended because he fessed up months ago, which everyone thinks is complete bull, and I do too. It's just because he's in that high profile story line. Simon Dean was fired, so that handles him.

We also know John Morrison is suspended which leads us into the SPOILER ALERT. According to WWE.com CM Punk is the new ECW champion, which means Morrison was suspended. On Monday it's supposed to be Jeff Hardy vs. Umaga, and Umaga was mentioned on the list so I think we already know where that title is going. So out of 11, we already know the fate of 7 (read down for why there are 7, not 6 if you've been keeping score). We'll probably find out more soon enough.

The 11th person who got suspended was for missing their flight, not steroids like everyone thinks, supposedly anyway.

On to other sports news that interests me, Clay Buchholz threw a no-hitter for the Sox and a Pats player is suspended 4 games for the same thing WWE has been suspending it's wrestlers for. This is getting crazy man.

Eugene got released too, currently it's not known why, even to him. It could be because he was suspended in 2005 for a Wellness violation and he's considered a "liability". That's just my thinking anyway. It's a good theory too, we'll find that out later I guess.

UFC Fighter Fired (This Is Great, Seriously)

I got this from The Daily Suplex.

Dave Meltzer reported at WrestlingObserver.com that UFC president Dana White has confirmed that Renato Sobral has been released from his contract.

Sobral was involved in a controversial match that did not air on the UFC 74 pay-per-view. Sobral choked out his opponent David Heath and refused to immediately release the hold. Sobral and Heath had exchanged words at the weigh in.

After Sobral released the choke, Heath was unconscious and twitching on the mat.

Why do I find that so amazingly awesome? Is it because I'm a sick twisted freak? Or because it proves that UFC is just insanely awesome. You be the judge.

And My Smile Faded ..

That whole Samoa Joe thing is a rumor. Now I'm disappointed.

That's what I get I guess.

-Amanda

Whoa Whoa Whoa .. What?

I just read on the card for No Surrender and it will be Kurt Angle vs. Jay Lethal for the X Division title. Didn't Christopher Daniel's recently win a gauntlet to be #1 Contender for that title? What happened here?

More Information On The Wellness Bust

Here is an article that I got off eWrestlingNews.com. I'm sure this'll explain things better than I can.

- At this point, no names have been confirmed to be suspended by WWE.
Earlier today, WWE did confirm that 10 unnamed WWE superstars had been
suspended. Late this afternoon, The New York Daily News revealed several WWE
superstars' names that came up in the Albany, NY DA's investigation into
Signature Pharmacy. Here are the names that The NY Daily News revealed:

Randy Orton, Charles Haas, Adam "Edge" Copeland, Robert "Booker"
Huffman, Shane Helms, Mike "Simon Dean" Bucci, Anthony "Santino Marella"
Carelli, John "Morrison" Hennigan, Darren "William Regal" Matthews, Ken
"Kennedy" Anderson and Chavo Guerrero.

- Later this evening, ESPN named more superstars that were clients of
Signature Pharmacy. The names ESPN revealed are:

Shoichi Funaki, Dave "Batista" Bautista, Chris "Masters" Mordetsky in
addition to Edge, Morrison and Helms who were previously mentioned.

- Around 7PM this evening, The New York Daily News updated its article
adding Eddie "Umaga" Fatu to the list of clients for Signature Pharmacy. SI.com
also issued a detailed list of WWE superstars receiving shipments of drugs which
you can read here on the site.

- So far, the WWE is refusing to list of suspended names but they have
confirmed they issued the suspensions based on independent information received
by the Albany DA. WWE is the first organization to reprimand its employees in
the Signature Pharmacy scandal. Investigators say they expect numerous stars
from Major League Baseball and The NFL to emerge soon as well.

It's obvious that this has rocked WWE to the core at a very bad time
for the company as they prepare for the Congressional hearings. We will keep you
up to date on any breaking information as soon as it becomes available.

I'll keep you updated too.

10 WWE Stars Suspended

Dude, I'm amazed. Seriously, WWE is sort of stepping up to the plate now and I guess they aren't afraid to give their talent the finger. Which is excellent because they've been needing to do that for a while. I've got a list here of names that were "supposedly" involved in this. I got this list of names from eWrestlingnews.com so don't blame me if they're wrong and don't hold me accountable, they're the first names I've read so I figured I'd pass them along. If I read a different list or if I see names multiple times we'll know something's up but I'll post every new list I see.

And the supposed victims are: Randy Orton, Charlie Haas , Edge, King Booker, Shane Helms, Mike Bucci (Simon Dean), Santino Marella, John Morrison, William Regal, Mr. Kennedy and Chavo Guerrero. I'm laughing right now because some of these names I highly doubt and I think it's odd that a guy with a neck injury is suspended when he's already out until mid-2008 anyway (Shane Helms). And Edge is out too with an injury so .. I wonder how they'll tack that on. I just think this list is funny as hell though and definately disputable. I'm just too lazy to dispute them right now but about 75% of this has to be wrong.

Also, tonight and next week I will be watching TNA iMPACT! because of the plain fact I'm bored and tonight the Motor City Machine Guns are wrestling. Next week Raven's wrestling so it'll be a fun little time watching TNA. I'm also going to see what's supposed to be happening at No Surrender since I haven't heard of any matches on and why they're on it. We'll just have to see.

Summerslam Rights .. and Wrongs

Hey, I really didn't do that bad this time! Let's see my run down ...
Here are the ones that are correct:
  • Kane vs. Finley - I didn't offer a opinion therefore I was right either way. Obviously I was leaning Kane. WINNER: Kane / MY CHOICE: No effin' clue
  • Uma(n)ga vs. Mrrrrrr. Kennedy vs. Carlito - I made two choices for this one, Umaga or Kennedy. And Umaga came out on top and on Raw we saw exactly why. Because Hardy is back and they're bringing that storyline back. WINNER: UMA(N)GA / MY CHOICE(S): UMA(N)GA or MR. KENNEDY
  • Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero - I don't need to explain. WINNER: REY REY / MY CHOICE: REY REY
  • Diva's Battle Royal - Now this one I was surprised I got even the bottom four remotely right. I said it would come down to two divas from Raw and two divas from Smackdown. I got the two Raw ones exactly, Melina & Beth Phoenix (who went on to win it). The two Smackdown ones were Michelle McCool (one of my choices) and Torrie Wilson (not one of them). I thought Victoria would be there rather than Torrie, but I think I was close enough. I was leaning really hard towards Beth, and I guess I was right. WINNER: BETH PHOENIX / MY CHOICE(S): VICTORIA, **BETH PHOENIX**, MELINA or MICHELLE MCCOOL
  • Beer Bash - No brainer. WINNER: STONE COLD / MY CHOICE (WHICH WAS MADE WHEN MVP CAME TO THE RING WITH THE BEER): STONE COLD
  • Triple H vs. King Booker - Refer to Rey vs. Chavo. WINNER: TRIPLE H / MY CHOICE: TRIPLE H
  • The Great Khali vs. Batista - I was right, but not in the way I thought. I thought Batista would get a pin and win the title but obviously I believe it was a DQ of some sort (I don't remember and I don't have the results right in front of me at the moment) so the title didn't change hands. I was still right thought because Batista did win. WINNER: BATISTA / MY CHOICE: BATISTA

So, those were the ones I was right on, there were only two I was wrong on and I don't understand what the hell is going through WWE's minds with these but here goes.

  • CM Punk vs. John Morrison - Alright, I have no clue what the hell happened here but obviously it wasn't normal. Now we know it's just to push BDV so it was basically a BS Summerslam "Yay Let's Give Joey and Taz Something To Do" match. I feel really bad for Taz and Joey, all they do is sit there and doing nothing and twiddle their thumbs except for one match. Why didn't they fall asleep like I do in Math class? WINNER: JOHN MORRISON / MY CHOICE: CM PUNK
  • John Cena vs. Randy Orton - I was all for the RKO but the FU stood through and now I'm just annoyed. I'll never deny John Cena's talent for a minute, but they need to do something here. I mean the matches for all these titles now are just BS. Oh man I wish I was in Creative, I'd get the ball rolling here. Oh I'd be wonderful. :) But that'll never happen. Anyway, the result of this match pissed me off, what's next for Cena? Probably something boring. WINNER: JOHN CENA / MY CHOICE: RANDY ORTON

That is as far as that goes. I hate to give away a spoiler but Raven is going to be on next Thursday's ( Sept. 6) episode of TNA iMPACT! facing Samoa Joe. I'm not going to go into details about what happened in the match but maybe we'll see Raven get into this whole tango with Samoa Joe and all those homeboys. Or is my buddy gonna stay a jobber? I wish I knew.

Quoth Mander,
Nevermore
(Heck yes I just ripped him off and I will be until I get bored)
